Standard 1 FFT Power Spectrum Display

  • Shows power spectra calculated using FFT, from 0 to 4 Hz.
  • Results are normalized using the Leahy method.
  • This display updates every 128 seconds.

At the top is a bar of options controls.
Options buttons:

File:

  • Freeze [to stop scrolling of data, select again to resume.]
  • Save or E-mail File [Allows you to email an ascii dump or postscript plot to yourself.
  • Quit [quits the window.]
Select: [to choose what data is displayed]
  • Sum all Good Xenon [default, shows the count rate of the sum of all PCUs.]
  • Sum all Very Large Events
  • Sum all Propane Events
  • Sum all Other Events [events that do not fall into the above categories.]
  • PCU 1 ... 5 [shows only data from that PCU. Used for diagnostic.]
  • all 5 PCUs [overlays data from each PCU, color coded.]
Y axis [to set y-axis scale]
  • Log - zero min [logarithmic scale, default, minimum is set to zero.]
  • Log - actual min
  • Linear - zero min [linear scale, minimum is set to zero.]
  • Linear - actual min
Display:
  • Live [clear data between each partition]
  • Integrated & Averaged [accumulate and average data]
  • Late Data [pop up a window when data is late]
  • Strip Chart [show late data graphically]
Integrate and Average:
  • Start [start accumulating data]
  • Stop [stop accumulating data, use for excluding occultation data]
  • Clear [clears and restarts the integration]
